Dr. Woodward joined the Texas Tech faculty in 2006 and is currently an Associate Professor of Plant Pathology. He holds a joint appointment between Texas Tech University (25%), and the Texas AgriLife Extension (75%). His responsibilities at Tech include teaching Agricultural Plant Pathology, Advanced Plant Pathology, and a Graduate level course in Plant Disease Management, as well as advising graduate students. Within Texas Cooperative Extension, Dr. Woodward serves as an Extension Pathologist focusing primarily on diseases of peanut and cotton.
Research Interests:
Dr. Woodward's research interests include the development of integrated disease management strategies, evaluating the efficacy of fungicides, management of fungicide resistance, plant disease epidemiology, and plant disease diagnosis.
