The Gardens of Europe study abroad course is traveling to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland May of 2013. Come join students, friends of Texas Tech and garden enthusiasts as we explore the exquisite gardens of these European countries. Three hours of course credit is earned during the Maymester allowing students to participate in both summer sessions, internships, or summer work experiences. Participants interact weekly during the spring semester studying various aspects of garden design, plant selection and the history and culture of the country. This classroom experience is followed by a 10-15 day travel abroad experience visiting these world class gardens and cultural sites. This course will meet the general education core curriculum requirements for a multicultural course. Distance students may also enroll for this course. Save up your funds and we hope to see you in 2013!
